I take this opportunity to welcome you to our second intake of Foundation Certificate in Real Estate Practice (FCRP) and commencement of Advanced Certificate in Real Estate Practice (ACRP) training programmes. We pledge to continue designing conducting and certifying professionally blended work- based training programmes for the existing and aspiring Real Estate practitioners. The Institute is ready to impart to them with relevant knowledge, and practical skills so as to improve their career prospects and work performance.
Our maiden intake for FCRP attracted 86 participants. This surpassed our target of 50 participants. Out of the registered 86 participants, 62 managed to successfully complete the course and are pledging to continue to the Advanced Stage. This big number has encouraged us to be more innovative in order to solve people’s real life problems.
As our partners continue to offer sponsorship to our participants, we shall be having another intake in August 2018 for two programmes of Foundation and Advanced levels of training in Real Estate Practice. Arrangements have been made to conduct a Master -Class Training Programme that targets Chief Executives Officers, Directors and other High level professionals running Real Estate related organisations. We shall also conduct a Tailor- Made Training Programme designed to meet the specific needs and requirements of any requesting organisations.
Given the fact that we were able to enrol more participants than we expected, and the zeal that they exhibited, it was revealed to us that there is great potential of achieving our goal of professionalizing the industry. It showed us that there are many people out there who yearn to earn knowledge and practical skills in real Estate Practice. The recent requirement by government of Uganda to have all Real Estate Practitioners trained and registered for eventual licensure gives a great credence and encouragement to continue devising means of solving the emerging challenges in the Real Estate profession.
Our innovative blend of Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and the face -to -face method of learning has proved that participants truly enjoy the flexibility of learning when, where and how they want without interrupting with their day- to – day career.
We pledge to make the new intake more interesting and enjoyable in order for them to Learn, Practice and Excel in their careers.
